I just replaced the cambelt on my 2004 ford fiesta cvh engine, and after assembly it started easily but my revs are at 2000 rpm`s. any idea why that is and how do I fix it

Are there any vacuum leaks as a result of the repair?

check the vacuum tube, maybe it was loose or broken in the disassembly and assembly of cambelt
