need help

Is it cranking over and w/n start or just won't crank at all/nothing??

it is cranking over but just wont start i was reading up on the engine and i think i need to start by checking the oil but i have a oil leak and if it is low on oil it wont start right? is that a good place to start.

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine at least 3/16 away from ground -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem,Do you hear the fuel pump come On when you turn key on? If not check fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay if so, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs,coil's resistances,distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

Batterie(s)? so its a diesel? the injectors run off oil pressre thats how they open and close. First fix the oil leak and add appropriate amount, then try to start it again. Try using some starting fluid appropriate for diesels, no either. see what happens. Check you glow plugs and (ficm) fuel injection control module.

A dual battery system doesn't really mean its a diesel-it doesn't tell me nothing could be an auxillary power purposes

How do you know its diesel he or she has not responded-now if it is-might be air in the system, glow plugs and controlled module and injection pump, etc never heard off diesel engine using oil pressure to pulse the injectors-?????Diesel engines operates on heat of compression about 15 times great than a gas engine-
