information on glow plugs

The glow plugs are located on each side of the engine right under the valve cover u can see them from the outside. You DONT need to remove the valve cover to gain accesS to them you will c a wire with a protective strap on each side of the head towards the bottom. There is a special tool designed to remove the glow plug connector I strongly recomend that you use this tool being that the connectors get damaged easily the tool looks like a quick disconnect tool kind of like a fork with out the middle teeth but thicker . The glow plugs are size 10 if im not mistaken you will need a 1/4 inch tool set for this because the 3/8 dosnt fit. Hope this help.
