Have had to jump start periodically over the past month.

Had batteries load tested and one was bad, so had it replaced. Now a week after one battery was replaced, when you turn the key over and wait for the glow plug lite to go out. All gauges peg! Then they come back down and when you try to start, all I get is a clicking sound? How can I test to make sure the alternator is charging? I do have a Volt meter. Also what about the Volt Reg or fusible link?

use the voltmeter at either battery and it should be around 14.2 to 14.5
it sounds like you have a draw draining the batteries.
the voltage regulator is inside the alt and if the fusible link or links are bad, the charging system would not work.

no, it is time consuming. you put a meter inline with the battery cable to see the draw then finding it with all the accessories is the repair. once you find the circuit, you need to identify the draw exactly.
i recommend you have a shop do this that is familiar with these types of repairs.
