p0193 code what does this mean?

We have gotten the code of P0193 on our 2004 Ford Explorer (4.0L engine), We have replaced the Fuel filter already and believe that is the Fuel Rail Sensor where is it located and how easy is it to access to replace?

This codes means the Fuel rail pressure temp (FRPT) needs to be replaced here is the location. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I have 2004 Ford Explorer , I have 2- code come out its said one is FUEL RAIL and the other one is selinoid transmission anyone can tell me . 1-smell gas
2- press gas pedal all the way 3000 rpm. The vechicle runs only 10 miles i feel like choking? The said the selinoid it's not opening please any advise.. Thank you and God bless

p0775 is a hydraulic failure of something in the trans and has to be checked by a trans guy or he will probably know off the bat what it is.p0193 is the fuel rail pressure sensor located on the fuel rail lh side

can a clog fule filter give me a p0193 message I did run out of gas and went to a different gas station so was thinking that i might have clog the fule filter when I ran out of gas

No. that is a problem with the fuel rail pressure sensor circuit and needs to be troubleshooted. You have a computer controlled, variable pressure system.

Hi my name is micheal

My question is that my engine light keep coming on had the scanner put on and the code is (0193) I know it has something to do with my fuel system but due to money problems I can not afford to have someone to look at it, so my question is how can I norrow the problem down myself to slove the problem without spending a lot of money! can u help me out thanks you.

P0193 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input

check the fuel pressure regulator and let me know if you are getting black smoke from the exhaust.

No black smoke coming from tail pipe. What if I changed the fuel filter?

That won't change the problem. Either the sensor is bad, there is a wiring problem, or something is up with the regulator.
