I got a jump start, and the leads were hooked up backward for about 2 seconds.

2004 Ford Expedition Radio Problem The ONLY thing that doesn't work is the Radio CD player (It is the CD=6 system). There is no clock, no power, nothing.I have checked the Everything appears to work, except for the radio/cd player. I checked the two fuses listed as covering the radio/cd player in the owners manual, and they were fine. Is there an in-line fuse, or something else I can check? I have 6 CD's in the unit, and NOTHING is working.

if the fuses are good then it may have done damage to the unit. thats what happens when a voltage spike happens like that. you are lucky you did not do further damage.

MAYBE A GLIMPSE OF HOPE?????

THERE WERE 3 DIAGRAMS, 2 WERE "RADIO W/ NAVIGATION"-----THE OTHER "W/O NAVIGATION

I GRABBED "RADIO W/ O NAV", AND POSTED IT BELOW

LET ME KNOW IF I GOT THE WRONG ONE

LET ME KNOW IF YOU CANNOT READ THIS, AS I DO NOT KNOW IF IT'S READ-ABLE, ON 2CAR TILL I POST IT...I DO HAVE A WAY TO GET IT TO YOU SAFELY W/O YOU BROADCASTING YOUR INFO, IN OPEN FORUM.

LOOKS TO BE MORE THAN 1 FUSE (IN THIS RADIO DIAGRAM)

I'D PULL 'EM AND INSPECT THE "ELEMENTS" AND ALSO MAYBE STAB 'EM IN AND OUT MULTIPLE TIMES TO INSURE THEY MAKE GOOD CONTACT IN THEIR HOLDERS.........MIGHT ALSO DO THE SAME WITH OTHERS, THAT MAY BE FURTHER "UP" THE LINE

IF YOU DISCOVER SOMETHING ELSE INOPERABLE, LET ME KNOW, I CAN PULL IT'S DIAGRAMS, MAYBE THERE MAY BE A "COMMON DENOMINATOR"

IMMA JEEP GUY, I ONLY CAN HELP YOU WITH GENERIC STUFF ON YOUR RIG, AND GET DIAGRAMS YOU MAY WANT/ NEED.....(SORRY)

LIKE ASEMaster6371 SAID, YOU MAY HAVE FRIED THE UNIT

I THOUGHT I MIGHT BE ABLE TO PULL OFF "ONE LAST CHANCE"
