OK so I have a 2004 ford escape 4wheel dr v6 I was going up a hill today and the car was in drive all of a sudden it acted like it was in neutral but was in drive. I turned the car off and back on it went about a 1/2 a block and did the same thing. The tranny fluid is full and doesnt smell burnt or discolored. I had no prior slip or noises to suggest the trannny was going bad. When i start the car and put it in any gear it goes a 1/2 a block then acts like its in neutral. The running of the car is fine it just won't go? Please help.
