My Fait Palio 1.6 16V cam belt runner came loose which resulted in cam belt skipping a tooth which in turn resulted in bending valves. The engine head was removed and valves were replaced. The engine was put back together and timing was done using the correct cam locking tools. Car now starts but when revved quickly the engine floods if the engine is revved slowly the engine revs but its limited in revs and lacks power. Please could you advise what could be wrong.

Make sure that the fuel pressure reg is working, as if they are faulty this can cause the engine to run very rich.

Check plugs to see if only one is fouling if so you may have a injector leaking all the time.
