Shouldn't have to reprogram anything unless computers or the lock cylinder was replaced. In that case, one hour of labor charge or around $100.00 is typical. Some charge as much as the market will bear and they know they have a captive audience and you can't go anywhere else. Most Chrysler dealers do not fall into that mentality, but you have to understand the scanner they use to access the computers in your car cost over $6000.00 in the mid '90s. Add to that the time to regularly update them, and the cost of repairs to them, and that is part of why the cost is so high.
