The front passenger floor mat is wet?

Please assist. The front passenger floor mat is wet. I am assuming it the related to the AC drainage or the heater core. It is not the cause of water intrusion from an outside source. Thank you very much.

Hello,

It sounds like the drain for the evaporator is clogged and the water drains inside instead of outside the vehicle.
That drain is located on the passenger side firewall towards the bottom.
It is a small hole with a hose. This can get clogged by dirt or debris.
This will stop the water from coming out of the drain and will build up and drain to the passenger side floorboard.
Simple locate and clean out the drain to fix this issue.
It will be easier to find the drain from under the vehicle.
