Pt Cruiser P0300 code

I have a 2004 PT Cruiser GT Turbo 5-speed with 100,000 miles. I recenty got a po300 code 3 days after buying the car. It ran great for the 3 days. Now when the turbo engages the CEL blinks and I get the po300 code when I read the code. The previous owner replaced the wires, plugs and coil pack about 2,000 miles back. Stated the car never did this to him ( who knows the truth). The Dodge dealer told me by phone it is not the crank sensor. Because it would not start if it was. Any ideas?????

Thanks, the downside is the long list of possibles, lol. I replaced the cam sensor today to no avail. The car has a miss at idle that fluctuates a little. As long as you feather the gas it gives no problems. It's when you throttle up that it starts and kinda goes into a limp mode. The funny thing is the CEL is off and I now have no codes, just the same problem. I ran a compression test and I have 130 on 1 cylinder and 90 on the other 3. Any direction to be pointed in would be better than where I am now.

Those readings don't look good-might try testing the throttle position and manifold absolute pressure sensors-
