I have a 2004 2500hd chevy with 15238 miles and all the sudine started smoking after a cold start only smoke for about 5 or 8 sec the smoke is a gray/blue ish. it runs fine

It could be from several things. The valve seals could be leaking oil into the combustion chamber, there could be slight wear on the valve guides... With such low mileage, I wouldn't expect it, but that is where I would start if it only happens on start up.
