Once in a while there will be hot air coming into the cabin even though I have everything shut closed,it does not happen all the time, and I have one of those silverado"s that had possible bad cast in heads, and I am having to add coolant way too often, does not leak no fluids, has no oil in water or vise versa,.Does anybody,I haven't pressure tested it yet.

get pressure tested first as it may be a head gasket, then pull hvac fuse with key on for 60 seconds it may cure your other problem otherwise it may be a bad actuator or the control head is bad

key on when you pull the fuse and leave out for 60 seconds. then wait another 60 seconds before trying it. but it may not be getting power to actuator either. which would need scanning
