I own a used 2004 Chevrolet Impala LS. On rainey days. When the car is parked on high ground. Some how 2-3 gal's of water gets in on the front passanger side of the floor. The water will sit there untill I go out and scoop it up with a bucket. Now it has caused mildew only in that area. Can you explane why and how to repair it.

There is a leak somewhere and it can be from the windshield, doors or pillars. You would need to perform a water test to locate the source of the leak and repair accordingly.

If possible, remove the carpet and use a garden hose to spray water onto the vehicle, dividing the test onto separate areas starting with the lower part of vehicle and rising up to higher position. Any leaks should be noticeable from inside cabin.
