2004 Chevrolet Cavalier Wheel wabble

Where do you see the wobble? Is it the wheel itself?

Yes I watch it wabble from behind I can see wheel bearring wobbling also but I just changed last night I also changed cv axle as it was flopping around by tranny when I changed cv axle it pulled apart left shaft in tranny but got out and put on new cv

If the wheel is tight and not cocked one way or the other, then something is bent.

Just replaced rotors pads and still have same issue what could be bent I've changed everything on that side

If you remove the wheel, does the hub wobble?

Yeses but cv axle has lots of play I've changed everything on passenger side three times now 5 mechanics looked at it drivers side axle has no play but passenger side does I even changed nubby shaft going into tranny someone said then it's steering buckle u think?

Where is all the play at the trans or the wheel bearing? And do you mean steering knuckle?

No play at trans and yes I meant steering knuckle also if I had a bad strut would that cause it?

If that is the case, it sounds like that could be the issue.

I can move strut side to side and up and down and have lots of play on top of strut as well should where you bolt steering knuckle to strut move and turn without rest of strut turning and could this my cause for wheel wabble Thanks frustrated john lol

The strut should be firmly mounted and I can't think of how it would cause the wheel to wobble. However, too many things sound loose. (it makes it hard not being there) There shouldn't be play in the knuckle or the strut.

The only things I haven't changed are struts and knuckle when I unbolt strut from knuckle I can move strut up and down and side to side very loosely 3 mount bolts are tight I changed axle and bearring again yesterday third time also new rotors and pads so confused and frustrated as no mechanics here in sudbury ont can figure it out everything is new

And I broke stud on top mount of strut only two holland it dangerous?

It should be repaired, but if you are easy on the vehicle, you should be okay until you get it fixed.
