no fuel

crank , no start. no gas. dropped tank. jumped pump and it runs. have 11.64 volts at pump connection and body connection when turning key to run for approx 2 seonds. switched relay with a/c relay and still no fuel. resistance prob?? or ???

Could be the computer controlled circuit of the fuel pump relay coil side not energizing to complete the fuel pump circuit to the pump

any way of testing? sill tho wouldnt the pump run for the 2 secs it has 12 volts ?

The fuel pump won't run for 2secs if there's a problem with the relay-try swapping the relay with a like one and see what happens-the relay only comes in play for 2 secs when the engine fires up its the fuel pump/oil pressure sending unit that powers the fuel pump constantly

swapped relay and no difference. yes, i meant to say that it IS energizing the pump with 12 volts for the 2 seconds. I,m thinking that the pump is getting proper voltage but NOT enough amps ????crappy ground or ??

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure tester if its within specs and also if the injectors are pulsing

Sorry, my answers are steering you wrong LOL and thank u for the quick responces!! i'll try to be more clear
the pump is definately good, will run jumped ( out of car )
has 12 volts to it for 2 secs when turning key on but pump wont run
harness from body to pump is good
switched relay
So i see in other posts possible poor ground not allowing enough amps? any ideas along that line?
