2004 Chevrolet Aveo Out of time

Both cam marks lined up crank mark lined up along with the tensioner it's all perfect but when I try it it just puffs out the throttle body can someone tell me why it isn't in time if it's all lined up just right btw got spark plug wires right please help!

did you just do a timing job on this car?if the marks line up turn it a few revolutions and see if they line up again.

Yes I did the job myself and after I crank the engine over and over it all lines right back up perfectly also when I crank engine it puffs out the throttle body I am so stumped

did it jump time or did something break?or did you do it as a maintenance sevice based on mileage?

my brother didn't put antifreeze in and it froze up he started it the next morning and it broke off the water pump gear,broke the timing belt, and bent 4 valves me and my dad ordered a new set of valves,water pump,belt,and tensioners installed them put everything back together just right all marks lined up but when we crank the engine all it does is splut out the throttle body don't know whats the deal we got spark ,fuel,and compression why wont it start? Any help would be soo appreciated thanks

did you replace all the valves or just the four that you think are bent?
