Aveo Door Ajar light?

My door ajar light is on in my 2004 Chevy Aveo and won't go off after I closed all of the doors. Including the hatchback, nd I turned the dome light on the setting where it's automatic and it turned off when I closed the door. Why won't the light go off?

This light stays on when the door light switch on the drivers door wears out, to be sure remove the switch which is in the door jam and disconnect the wire to see if the light goes out, if so you have found the problem, do this for all door and latch switches utill you find the problem, which I have seen the drivers door switch fail fyi.
