Why doesn't the radio stay on when I turn off the engine?

The radio usually stays on 10 minutes after the engine is turned off...the keys are in the ignation. Today when I turned off the car the radio went off,too. Is this a sing that the battery is going bad? Thanks

the bcm is what controls this function. have a shop with a scan tool check for any body codes to see if there is an internal failure with the bcm.
