get the bottom seat out then undo two bolts on floor then get a screwdriver and push down the 4 clips holding the top in and pull forward pics included. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

how do I remove the headrest?

It appears as though you have to loosen and invert the seat back cover, then there is pin holes in the guides that you would insert a pin into to release the detents.
