Under backseat. Right side of vechicle.Pull the carpet forward. Only a inch or two. It's a couple inches long bout inch wide should be black. Might have a Christmas tree holding carpet in place.

The left and right brake lights do not work; bulbs are fine. Center-mounted brake light works.
I suspect a fuse but using fuse diagram and coverage cannot find anything that identifies the outboard brake lights fuse.

Hi gdiehr, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation
The fuse for the brakes is good otherwise the high mount lite will not come on.
Inspect and test the joint connector located below left rear on left rear fuse block

must be a short in the brake lamp circuitry. check wire harnesses at brake lamp assemblies, ensure no wires are damaged or loose. if OK, check the brake lamp switch under driver dash, on brake pedal arm.

I just fixed mine. Had no brake lights. Had tail lights. Didn't have speedometer either. Mouse chewed through 3 wires under hood. Removed battery 3 wires going to plug in kinda tucked inside passenger side fender.. Odd how those 3 control brake lights and speedometer.
