You have to remove the little block that hold's the battery in at the bottom of the battery. Then remove the diagonal brace to get it out. Here are the instruction's i have.
REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right front diagonal brace.

3. Disconnect the positive battery cable.

4. Remove the retainer bolt (1) that holds the battery in place.
5. Remove the battery retainer (2).
6. Remove the battery (3).

IMPORTANT: Do not tip the battery more than 40 degrees during removal.

7. Remove the insulator from the battery.

Doesn't work. Disconnected battery and removed diagonal brace from on top. There is NO ROOM to get the battery out!!! It's like they built the car around the battery!!!! Looks like the actual front frame of car has to be removed to take it out!!! The fuse box is also in the way. Tried moving it, but the wires are too short!!! Another suggestion???

I looked up both the super charged model and the non super charged model and there both the same.It say's take out the diagonal brace and remove the battery.I wish i could see what your fighting there so i could give you a better suggestion. You might try rotating the battery around. You could try moving that fuse box if that would give you the room. You would just have to unhook the wire's to it.Even though it doesn't say to remove the fuse box.
