I recently bought my car in great condition, other than the radio antenna is broken. It seems to have been cracked on the screw that the antenna mast threads onto, leaving about a thread and a half. I want to replace it, or even just to mount a new replacement mast to it, but I can't figure out how to remove the assembly or even just the screw to replace it. How do I do it? Thank you

Can you post a picture of what you're looking at the broken antenna?

The antennae base is glued on with special adhesives and for removeal, you need to cut through it.

There's also an antenna nut socket you need for removal of the base. Unless you can use a pair of needle nose. You see the nUt with all the slots in it that's what I'm talking about that takes a special socket

Sorry, I thought it was the glass antennae.
If you use a long nose, be careful that it might slip and damage the paints. Use a screwdriver as leverage.

You may have to end up getting a socket some of those are pretty tight.
