starting troubles

i just purchased a 2004 530i bmw and it seems to have trouble starting. It does eventually start its just slow. Do you think its an issue with the battery?

Quite possible indeed. The age of the battery in a 2004 car might have something to do with it. 6+ years is more than a typical lifespan, you may wish to replace it before it strands you in the middle of somewhere you did not want to be stranded. ?
