Door Lock

We are the owner of a Acura MDX Touring 2004. Recently we've noticed that the remote does not unlock the driver door. However, once we manually unlock the driver door only then can we use the remote to unlock all the other doors. Can you tell me what to do?

So if the drivers power lock is inop with the switch and the remote you will have to remove then inner door panel and see if the door lock actuator is getting power and ground when you hit the switch.I would also check the lock rod linkage while i was in there.
