Is there such a thing as performing Electrical diagnostic? There must be a solution for persistent electrical problems, I've summarized below in reverse chron:
In mid-Nov. 2010: headlights, running (day) lights, tail/brake lights are not working, even though mechanic "checked all lights and were all working at this time now". They were not working a couple of days before I dropped off the car on Dec. 14, and now they are not working.
Oct. 19, 2010: same mechanic had checked left brake/tail lights not working correctly, found poor ground connection to that bulb; replaced the bulb and installed new round wire.
May 13, 2010: same mechanic checked lighting, bad L tail/brake light bulb and replaced.
July 2, 2009: same mechanic Right headlight found defective, removed bulb housings and replaced both original headlight bulbs with new.
Can these persistent electrical problems be resolved? I had bought the car in Aug 2004, with about 300 miles, and is currently around 52K.
