I have a 2.2 diesel. When starting from cold the engine management light stays on for a short while. in normal conditions if I accelerate sharp it will go off in just a few yards. In this very cold weather it stays on a little longer before acceleration takes it off. Very occasionally it comes on when going down hill in 5th it comes on, a quick dip of the pedal takes it off.
