2003 Toyota Tacoma Radiator drain and refill

Looking to DIY coolant drain and refill on my 03 Tacoma 3.4L.
I purchased the OEM 1 gl Red Coolant and will purchase 1 gl distilled water.

The Toyota Parts counter manager suggested:
1. drain the current coolant.
2. flush with regular water from hose.
3. pour in 50/50 mix of coolant/distilled
4. done

Any other steps?
Turn on heater for two cycles?
Burp the system? (not sure how to accomplish this)
