So I took my car to a mechanic. When I brought the car to them it was on a trailer and they were told the car was stuck in gear. In order to get the car off the trailer they decided to some how get it into reverse and the car backed up off the trailer. Then they proceeded to try and move the car forward with no success! As they tried for about 5-10 minutes! I looked out to see a cloud of smoke coming from my car. They kept the car for a few days and found out that the transmission was blown. So we agreed to replace the transmission and clutch. After the car was fixed I got into it and the check engine light was on. I went back in and told them it was on. They drove it back in and hooked it up to a diagnostic. They didn't know what was causing the check engine light was on. But mention something it was misfiring. They promised the car was fine to drive. So I drove home having the car die on me 6 times before driving about 10 miles. Not to mention the car was idling really low and the whole engine was shaking. Can you tell what this could be and could the mechanics did something when the car first arrived? They told me the car was driving fine for them. My car has never drove like the way it did when I picked it up.
