Spare tire question-2

Hi,

I am sorry for asking this again as it my question was a little unclear and here it is more clear.

I had my car's one of the tire changed (rear) with goodyear viva-2 and other with (second rear wheel) spare tire (Goodyear Integrity) which is a brand new and was sitting in the trunk of my car. Is the spare tire ok or its just for spare and not for a long run?

The spare tires if it is of the correct size, can be used for long runs but if the age of the tire is too old, I would advise against it as tires do have a lifespan and can burst if the materials have deteriorated.
