This problem started about two years ago. Each time I complained to my mechanic, he will scan the car and said nothing is wrong but he will change the pads. After changing it, the pedal will come up for like 2 to 3 weeks and later starts to go down again. As it is going down, there is corresponding decrease in its performance until it gets to the floor, then I will need to press 3 to 5 times in quick succession before the brake will act or respond slowly.

At a point, the mechanic said that the master cylinder should be changed, I told him to go ahead, he changed it but the situation persists and whenever the pads are changed, within a month, the brake would have reached the floor and back to where it was before the repair.

Please, I want you to help use your expertise to solve the problem, I live in Lagos, Nigeria.
