will unlock and open the trunk

It will unlock and open the trunk. I hear a buzzing sound coming from the dash/engine compartment when I hit the Lock button on the remote. I have to hit the unlock button on the remote in order to get it to stop.

Hello,

It sounds like the trunk lock solenoid has shorted out. but to be sure please unplug it to see if the system returns to normal. Here are diagrams to help show you what to do. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
