2003 Saturn L300 coolant thermostat

We don't know the location of the thermostat and we tried to find it by following the hose from the coolant tank itself. It did not lead us to the thermostat. Could you send us an image or some information of where it would be located please and thank you. Also it has a really bad gas smell every time you drive the car

The thermostat is under the intake manifold and the spacer under the intake manifold. Its not that easy to get to or get out for a diyer.

Ok ill look for it there thank you for your time and do you have any idea of why I have a gas smell every time I drive the car but it does not leak gas

Is the smell from the rear where the gas tank is?If so I pretty much know whats going on.

What usually happens is the nipple coming off the top of the fuel pump module leaks gas where the fuel line attaches. I have seen quite a few of them do that.
