Engine started to shake real bad?

This could be the result of several different things. For example, it could be a fouled spark plug or low fuel pressure.

If the check engine light is staying on, you really should scan the computer for diagnostic trouble codes.

What I would suggest is this. If the check engine light is on, have it scanned. If you don't have a scanner, most parts stores will do it for you free of charge.

If there is no check engine light and the vehicle hasn't been tuned up for a long time, you may want to consider a general tune-up.
