I started my nissan sentra 2 times the second time it ran for like 10 seconds and i realized it did not have an oil filter

What kind of weird noise? where at upper or lower part of engine?

Ticking or Tapping or whatever?-No oil can do some major damages

it sounds like a little tap, i try to accelerate the car it went away but it came back. I was changing the oil filter. The car had oil except when i cranked the car.
