Check the heater core, if it has a heater control valve that too and the air blend door/actuator

I found the problem, the blend door actuator for the temperature was not working, the guide helped me find it. Got a new one for $87.00 all fixed!

2002 lancer heater won't work. The thermostat won't even move to the heat (red) side. It's like the vents won't open after I had my radio replaced. Help!

The air-mix has been installed incorrectly or restricted during the radio replacement. Recheck the installation and readjust cable if necessary.

AIR MIX DOOR CABLE CONNECTION
1. Turn the heater control assembly's temperature adjustment **** all the way to the HOT side.

2. Set the heater unit's air mix door lever to the MAX HOT position (turn the damper lever as the left illustration) and attach the cable.

3. Set the mold locator to the heater unit case and secure with a clip.
