How do I replace the cigarette socket in my 2003 Lancer...it is located in the console?

unplug electrical connector and unbolt from rear !

cigarette lighter and ashtray and gear shifter light wont light up. but everything else will light up in my car like my cd player and my gauges i have a 04 lancer es. please help me

there is a connector behind the cigarette lighter ,check if it's still connected
