I have power running constantly to the power window actuator it will not go down
I removed door panel and disconnected power window regulator connector. Then I placed a test light and with the key on there was power to the actual switch on the passenger side door. I'm thinking it might be the master switch control but I'm not sure could you guys help me?

if there was power to the switch then it may be the motor is bad. slam the door hard and see if it works if it does then it's the motor.

I replaced the entire unit including motor, but it keeps being energized in the closed position.

I'm thinking it might be the master switch controller because when I disconnected the switch from the motor on the passenger door I put a test light to the switch terminals positive and negative and the test light turned on without me even touching the switch from the master controller module.

My question is should there be current flowing through to that switch continually on the passenger side door and she did stop at the switch and not flow-through up to the motor until the switches engaged?

there should be power to the passenger switch but no further until the switch is engaged. the master switch can lock out all windows except drivers door. if power flows through the switch then I'd think the switch is bad. as power to a motor is reversed to make it work.
