Where do you connect engine lifting bar on a Duratec 3.0l 24 v DOHC engine. Need to drop transmission and there are no visible lifting lugs or threaded holes. Manual says connect device but does not state to what.

I've already got these pictures and they don't help me. My engine is a 4v and there are no brackets. Can you be more specific?

If there are no brackets, you would need to find locations where you can attach them. I usually look for excess bolts holes to attach them. Alternator brackets and manifold bolts are good locations too.
