when i was driving couple of weeks back car engine died and i could not start.I had to tow the car to a mechanic whol told that my camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensors have to be replaced,which i did.My car is ok now..my question how can i know a problem like this before it happens..why did car manufacturers made parts like this and when failed the driver has No option but to tow the car..Pls help

when dealing with electronics thee is no way to tell when the partis going to fail. Car manufacturers make parts for the cheapest price that they think will give htem the longestservice. Although you had to tow the car vehicles today aremuch superior to the ones made even 15 yrs ago. They require less service such as tune ups, carb problems, etc.
