intake manifold

Im having a really rough idle, Ive sprayed the intake manifold area with brake cleaner and the rpm's rise im assuming its the manifold gaskets.. if you could provide me with instructions on how to remove the intake manifold that would be great

Just move components that are in the way such wire harnesses, or fuel lines. Drain the coolant. There may be coolant hoses that need to be removed from the throttle body. Unbolt all necessary components like the fuel rail and pop out the injectors from the manifold (not the fuel rail. leave them on the rail. May need to replace the injector o-rings). Clean the manifold mating surface. Install new gaskets. When torquing down the bolts on the manifold. Start at the corners and work your way in at a criss-cross pattern (torque to 15ft-lbs). Then just put everything back like you found it.
