2003 land rover freelander needs front strut replaced, how much am i looking at? Also it overheated once in traffic should i be worried, what may cause this? I am thinking of purchasing this vehicle, it has about 95000 miles on it.

Strut will cost about $217 genuine, cheaper after market and about 1.5 hrs labour (check local rate) as for the over heating, check coolant loss as these do have a habit of doing water pumps.
