I got it to start back up two times but had to to hold accelerator to floor to keep running. then engine shut off after starting back up second time and cranks but won't start. I had a code reader hooked to it to check for error codes all that came up was throttle positioning sensor. so I put new one on it and still won't start cranks but won't start. do I need to reset or reprogram throttle positioning sensor?

Do you still have the throttle position code? This could cause an issue with starting but the thing I am not sure why it helped was holding the throttle down because this would indicate there is not enough air in the system to allow it to start. What was the code that you had if it is not still there?

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks

Okay. Let's start with checking to see if the code came back. That may help us determine what the issue is because we can assume the sensor fixed it but if it didn't then we need to readdress that. Let me know if it is still there and we can go from there. Thanks

Okay, I attached the code detail and tests.

P0101 - MAF Circuit Rationality
P0122 - TP Circuit Low
P1121 - TP Signal from ECM to TCM

You have a wiring issue so I would suggest pricking one of the first two codes and working through it. If you fix one of them, I suspect you will fix all three.

Would one of these issues make car not fire? Because when I crank It seems like it's not firing.

No. They would not prevent spark. Just pull a plug and connect back to the ignition system then hold it against the engine block and see if there is spark.
