4 wheel drive light is on and 4x4 low light is on?

My 4 wheel drive light is on and 4x4 low light is on. There is no od. In the morning when cold the lights are not on and it's fine.shut it off and restart the light come on and won't shift into overdrive.as long as I don't shut off it will run fine. Could you please help

Yes, it wont shift into overdrive if it thinks the 4x4 is on. This is because the transfer case shift motor needs to be replaced here is how the job is done. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
