Rattling noise coming from passenger side firewall area. Happens randomly while driving or idleing. Sounds like coins in a tin can. I know their was a recall for the crankshaft pulley bolt. My wife heard a loud pop while driving a couple months ago and then started to hear the rattling noise. Broken harmonic balancer? Thanks for the help.

just because of a recall doesn't mean your car was included normally the car manufacturer will contact you first. It is possible that this is the noise but it could also be a converter shield that has come loose. For this you'll need to have it looked at. If your car was recalled and you didn't take it back then do so as soon as you can
