when key is turned dash lights do not light and starter does not operate.

First thing i would do is make sure the battery cables are clean and tight.Also have the battery tested.Do you have a multimeter to do some testing?

thanks saturntech9. ihave a multimeter. all cables seem to be ok thought there might be a master fuse that might have blown.

What does the battery voltage read at the battery when trying to start it?
