2003 Kia rio 65000 mi car starts fine when cold.has to crank for 10 - 15 seconds before starting when warmed up. Pulled a code crankshaft position sensor malfunction. Could this cause it not to start when warmed up? Could crank sensor not work only when car is warmed up? Or could it be a fuel pump like originally suggested?

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge to rule out the fuel pump/filter
