It could have a bad torque converter or shift solenoid. Take it to a transmission shop and have it diagnosed. Don not take it to a regular repair shop as automatic transmissions are hard to work on and take special experience and special tools to diagnose and fix. AAAMCO is overpriced so find a tranmission shop that is reputable using the search engine on this site. It will locate one near you.
