I recently had the battery replaced on my jaguar (not at a jaguar garage) since then the remote control for the locking system has not worked. I have replaced the batteries in both keys and had a specialist lock mechanic attempt to fix it - he says the car is emitting the signal and the key is working properly - but the car and key are not talking to each other. I also had another mechanic look who says the locking system is fine - the keys are fine but he thinks the code has been lost when the battery was replaced and there is nothing actually wrong with the system itself. Any help please
