how to reset battery not charging light on a 2003 jaguar xj8

I replaced the alternator and now the batt4ery light and battery not charging lights are displayed and won't turn off. I have checked the battery and alternator. both are working correctly.

Check the fuesable link between the alt and the battery.

is that the fuse located in the junction box which is also in the trunk close to the battery? If so it tested OK

I don't have a wiring schematic to see it for this vehicle.
